MIDFIELDER JOINS PARTNER MEIKAYLA MOORE IN CALGARY

Montreal, February 12, 2026 - The Montréal Roses announce that midfielder Allie Hess and the club have mutually agreed to part ways. Hess will join Calgary Wild FC, reuniting with her partner, New Zealand international defender Meikayla Moore.

Hess joined the Roses in January 2025 ahead of the club’s inaugural season in the Northern Super League. The versatile American made 25 appearances across all competitions, contributing two goals.

Hess and Moore first met while both playing for MSV Duisburg in Germany’s Frauen Bundesliga. Their relationship became a storyline during the NSL’s inaugural season, when they faced each other for the first time as opponents last May.

“We fully support Allie’s decision,” said Marinette Pichon, sporting director of the Montréal Roses. “She was a true professional from day one and gave everything to this club. We thank her for her contributions and wish her nothing but the best in Calgary.”

“Thank you from the bottom of my heart,” said Hess, addressing the fans. “It has been a huge privilege to wear the Rose and represent this city. I have felt nothing but love and support, and I’m so grateful for the history we made in Montreal.”

The club wishes Allie all the best in her future endeavours.
