Fresh off a decisive 3-0 victory in Leg 1 last Sunday in Vancouver, the Montréal Roses return home for the crucial second leg of the Northern Super League semi-finals. The regular season champions are preparing for the most significant match in club history at Stade Boréale as they look to secure their ticket to their first NSL Final.

Holding a three-goal advantage on aggregate score heading into the final 90 minutes, Montreal aims to finish the job on home turf. The aggregate winner will advance to the championship final on November 14 at TD Place in Ottawa to compete for the Diana B. Matheson Cup.

Record-Breaking Momentum & Defensive Brilliance

Montreal’s postseason push is built on remarkable consistency. With their win in Vancouver, the Roses extended their unbeaten streak to 11 consecutive matches, establishing a brand-new all-time Northern Super League record. Notably, the squad has not dropped a single match since Maryse Bard-Martel took the tactical reins in August.

At the other end of the pitch, the Montreal backline and goalkeeper Gabrielle Lambert continue to stifle opponents, registering their third clean sheet in their last four outings. Facing a desperate 2025 defending champion in Vancouver that will need to press aggressively from the opening whistle, Montreal’s defensive organization and tactical discipline will be a massive asset.
