ROSES FORWARD JOINS SOUTH KOREA FOR APRIL INTERNATIONAL WINDOW

The Montréal Roses confirm that forward Chaerim Kang has been selected by South Korea for the FIFA Series 2026™ in Brazil, taking place during the April FIFA match window from April 7 to 18.

South Korea will play three matches at Arena Pantanal in Cuiabá:

  • Saturday, April 11: Brazil vs South Korea
  • Tuesday, April 14: Canada vs South Korea
  • Saturday, April 18: South Korea vs Zambia

This is Chaerim's second consecutive call-up this year, following her participation in the 2026 AFC Women's Asian Cup in Australia, where she scored 2 goals and helped South Korea qualify for the 2027 FIFA Women's World Cup in Brazil.

Originally from Seoul, Chaerim joined the Roses in August 2025 after playing over 120 matches and winning six national championships in the South Korean WK-League. During the inaugural NSL season, she made 11 appearances (10 starts) and recorded 3 goals.

Chaerim will be absent from the Roses training camp for the duration of the tournament and will rejoin the team upon her return. The 2026 NSL season kicks off on April 25.

The club wishes her the best of luck with the South Korean national team.
