Mégane Sauvé, a dynamic winger, discovered her passion for soccer by following in her brother's footsteps, supported by parents eager to provide her with a variety of sports experiences. From her first steps in the sport, she fell in love with the game. Throughout her career, Mégane has won three Canadian championships, including two university titles with the Carabins of the Université de Montréal and one with A.S. Blainville. Most recently, she was part of Sporting Clube de Portugal, a team that competed in the prestigious UEFA Champions League in 2024. These achievements reflect her dedication to showcasing soccer in Quebec, her home region. 

 

Off the field, Mégane has played a key role in mentoring young players, encouraging them to aim high. She has also been actively involved in supporting Montreal’s LGBTQ2S+ community, raising funds for local organizations. Known for her positive energy, she knows how to ease the atmosphere before matches, bringing smiles and dance to the locker room, helping to calm her teammates' nerves. 

 

Joining the Montréal Roses allowed Mégane to return to her family and friends while embracing the honor of representing her city and Quebec in a professional setting. Mégane is determined to win championships for Montreal, with the unwavering support of the Montreal community, while contributing to the growth of women's soccer.
