Sunday Morning Pancakes with Anne-Marie & Five Roses

From Alma to Montreal, goalkeeper Anne-Marie Laroche is living out her childhood dream with the Roses. Selected during the club’s very first identification sessions, Anne-Marie embodies everything we love about homegrown talent - dedicated on the field and deeply connected to her community off it.

One thing that brings the team together? Anne-Marie’s love for cooking. Her go-to pancake recipe has become a team favourite - simple, delicious, and packed with the kind of comfort that reminds you of home. Anne-Marie always uses Five Roses® flour to get her perfect pancakes every time.

This 5-step recipe captures the spirit of the Roses FC and Five Roses® partnership: authentic, fun, and made for sharing.

Ingredients:

  • 2 eggs
  • 2 mashed bananas
  • 2 cups (300 g) Five Roses® All Purpose flour
  • A pinch of cinnamon

5 Easy Steps to Pancake Perfection

  1. Gather and measure your ingredients.
  2. Mix it up. Whisk together the eggs and bananas until smooth. Add the cinnamon, then fold in the Five Roses® All Purpose flour until just combined.*
  3. Cook to golden perfection. Melt a little butter in a pan over medium heat. Pour in the batter and cook until bubbles form and the edges are golden.
  4. Top it off. Add your favourite toppings. Anne-Marie's choice? Peanut butter and maple syrup—a classic Canadian combo.
